Where are all teh SC2 games??

Hey everyone, its Fluffy.
Its been a while since i last visited here, (around 2 years i think), and i just happened to remember this clan from the depths of my memories.
Anyways, since im thinking the old WC clan is dead now... Are you guys gunna start playing SC2 and make maps for it and all that stuff?
And i realized that noones posted here in the last month so... just wondering if you guys are still alive. XD

I still check it, mostly because its still in my bookmarks and i instinctively click my bookmarks constantly.


I tried making Bfac since i still play wc3, but all i play now is dota (Sue me) and even then its only when LoL bans me for leaving.

Long story short, dota players are pricks and i couldn't stand to have a clan of them.

I check in every once in a while... maybe once/twice a month? Like sniperwolf, I have this website in my bookmarks, so when I have absolutely nothing to do I just go through them.

But yeah, place is pretty much dead, no matter how many other posts get put up here. We've got no (active) leadership at all. It would take a lot of commitment to revive the clan in the state it's in.

Also, Warcraft 3, as much as I hate to say it, is 99% dead. Sure, SC2 didn't kill it completely, as it's a whole different universe, but automated hosting bots are a big reason why it SHOULD be considered dead. If you brush off your WC3 disc and log on, nearly all the games are empty and being hosted by bots. And with the whole "oh, game is empty, better leave immediately instead of waiting" mindset of the community, it's almost impossible to find a good game.

As for SC2, plan on getting it. Sooner or later.

othatsux. man, it seemed like yesterday when this site was up and running and full o spirit. I guess everything has an ending sooner or later. Anyways, if some of you manage to get SC2, ill prob add you guys on there. see ya guys around, looks like its over for bfac <.<

I've got SC2. I really think that with a little help the clan could be revived to near it's capacity when I started up, but I think that would take more commitment from Dark and a few others than they're willing to put in. On the other hand If anyone can think of anything I can do to help resurrect the clan, just let me know. I miss all you guys

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you guys I bought SC2 last Saturday. As for the clan, once again, it will be too difficult without proper leadership at all. Not trying to be negative or anything though.

Fluffy, we don't have maps for Sc2 because it's too new and the editor is a LOT more complex than the World Editor. It'll take a lot more to make maps.

That said, we're back baby.

I'm pretty relieved that everyone I knew (for the most part) stuck together over all this time.

I've... never played SC. What's it like? And please don't explain the map generation to me. I broke myself against the WC3 one. I don't wana even touch the more difficult version @.@

Basically it's a bastard child of WC3, Starcraft, and one of the newer C&C 's. Graphics are fairly good, but they used some crappy "Real-ID" system for multi-player accounts that doesn't even work for some people. All and all it's a fun game but it's kind of a disappointment to avid Starcraft fans. If you haven't played SC you'll probably say "Hey, this is fun.", but if you have you will probably be shaking your head going "Really?". Don't go into it expecting it to be as big a deal for 2010 as Starcraft was for 1998.

Ahh. Well. I'll avoid doing that. I'm saving my headshakes for Diablo III and the mistakes they've likely seared into its legacy (Such as not having Matt Uelman for the music, and using the people who designed World of Warcraft's graphics for ITS graphics. DIABLO SHOULD NEVER HAVE SUNSHINE AND FLOWERS, DAMN IT). But that's a rant for a different place.

It will be okay as long as it stays free to play. I don't think it will be as great as it's being hyped though since they're changing so much since the first two. Now you can even choose your gender for any of the classes, and it has "more customization" which translates into "you spend more time in menu's and less killing sh*t".
If their "more customization" means subclasses though, I'll cry. case and point

I HAVE HAD A LUCKY BREAK! I just needed the CD code for Warcraft (both), to go the Battle.net site.. thing, and register the two games. It lets me download them directly from there! I shall be able to return! Huzza! .... Now what?

Edit: OH LIFE. YOU CRUEL BITCH! Excuse the language.. The download finished.. AND THEN.. My computer killed the installer. I can down load the installer, but cannot download the game x_x..

Do you have a router with a firewall or a software firewall? It's a peer2peer transfer so you'd need to open ports

Nope! It's an old program that my parents had put on my comp about a year ago. It doesn't agree with Windows Seven.. so it blocks things when it isn't supposed to be.

Meh, i heard sc2 editor sucks anyways. Diablo III on the other hand will be pretty big. Oh, and good to see you're back dark.

I was an original member of the clan back in its Warcraft days. Shaman for a while. And I just joined the forum like.. weeks ago. I haven't been here that long . I'm the one that got Dark to look on this old forum.
