Wolf Packs Alpha: Half Edition

So, the reviews I get at Wc3c have me thinking.

What if I took Wolf Packs Alpha, and literally shrunk it in half.
Well, that's what Wolf Packs Alpha: Half Edition will be if it ever comes to existence. What will set it apart from the original WPA?


-Much smaller map size
-Quicker gameplay
-Faster Leveling
-Less Creeping
-More wolf vs wolf combat
-No Humans (except some hunters)
-No Dragons (except maybe in events)
-More powerful items
-Less focus on runrunrunrunrunkill, more focus on killkillkillkillkill!
-Easier terrain (it's not as windy twisty-turny)
-New spells? (maybe...)
-More lives
-Modes!!
-No pups

All the wolves will remain the same. Dens will be similar. Imagine taking WPA and shaving off all the extra stuff until you're left with Wolves, Deer, Hunters, a small forest, and lots of blood.
Sounds a bit like Wolf Packs 1.2, right? Well, you're wrong. Because Wolf Packs Alpha: Half Edition will be all the fun of WPA packed down into a compact 128 x 128 map. It'll be like a mini arena mixed with RPG elements.


I would like any and all ideas on this. If enough people like it, I'll get to work on it after my WPA hiatus ends.

Sounds like a nice idea. A good portion of file size would be sliced off. Games would be shorter too. Good for players who want a quicker game of WPA.

Actually, all that filesize is the music file I added. That accounts for about 1.2 mb or so =P.

Nice idea but I think i'll stick with the full version, exploring a huge map is part of the fun in my opinion.

Some others don't seem to think that, which is why I'm considering this version.

yup I know, I too think that sometimes it would be better to have a game shorter, since most of the time players leave before even encountering the opposite pack.
It's just that I prefer enjoying the map than the players ^^

No. It's just WPA but smaller and more refined.
