laser tower

as an idea for the laser, or lazer tower give it whatever model you want but for the missle annimation give it an enlarged arrow model with a certain color variation and a vary high fire rate and moderate-low damage. this way it will be balanced but the color variation arrows will look like a pulse laser as they come out in a steady stream

edit - you can do all this in the world editor.

1: I already have a Laser tower =D

2: You can't tint projectiles w/o triggering all projectiles.

3: The laser tower already has a nice missile that I think looks good for a low-intensity laser pulse.

Hmm.. I guess I should start releasing a demo/information for this project, shouldn't I?

ok thats cool. maybe at least port some of the stuff from the other site over to this one. and sorry about the projectile tinting error i guess i didn't read closely enough as i went through but you should still be able to do it with a small trigger if you export and reimport a regular arrow skin and just modify the color of that using triggers just for future knowledge.

this is what i meant by post some stuff because i found that info usedull when getting an idea what this map whas all about. wook me like ... ah... 6 or 7 minutes to read it all briefly, but i got a good general idea and i already look forward to this map

On topic: You were right sniper, I checked the old site and I did have all sorts of information. I'll bring it all over here soon.

Fewmets: Ideas are always welcome, but wait until I put up the data I already have first so you don't give overlapping ideas.

Ideas are indeed always welcome as long as they make some sort of sence. Like half of B.net doesn't realize that alot of things they might suggest aren't do-able.

Lol i just had an idea for the laser tower, does it have a burning effect? I'am not sure but i just thought that maybe some laser's have burning effects; maybe i'am thinking of plasma or something.

Laser does not, and won't, have a burning effect.

However, I can do something similar for a different tower, sure.

No jk. Like, 6 maximum. Probably less. Rocket and Laser towers are a definite, might so Napalm and something else as well.

sorry about that but 2 things. first a question. do you mean ideas from the old site because i saw nothing about laser tower sorry if i missed. second is just an explanation of why i posted this in the first place. i posted this because you said on your front page:

But a little more frequency in posting would be nice.

I want everyone who reads this to post here with at least 1 suggestion
for the site, repeats are fine. No, moving websites is not an option.
Theme changes are possible, but not a priority. I expect everyone who
frequents the site to have posted here within a week's time.

Thanks for your continued support. Hope I can do something to keep the site from going down the drain.

so I created this topic in hopes that i could make a post at least every second day. I may not have much to say and I may not be on much nut at least when im on i can put in an idea to help stir up the forums. this has done that very well. Defend the wall once had 0 posts it now had 14 in 2 days. this follows your post on the front page to the letter.
P.S. i can change my avi if u want its just a graphic novel i read. the covers way worse then the inside.

That was nothing against you specifically, I was just asking people to wait so we don't have overlapping ideas. I'm putting up the info really soon.

But thank you for your concern, I have noticed this board get a few posts now, which is better than before. You can still post ideas, even if they overlap; they might inspire new ones.
