Roleplay Idea

okay, I have an idea for a roleplay. Being a writer, that's what I do. My idea is like so: Female ice dragon in love with male fire dragon who loves her back, now the problem with their love is their physical weaknesses. The female will thaw and male will get quenched by the meltwater. Now, their love is not forbidden by any customs, it is just an impossible love. Now, I want to build on this idea a story and characters. I only have this core idea and I don't even have a plot yet or even character names. If the clan would please, we can make this one a reality

The problem I'm seeing here is that one would want such a love to work out; obviously that isn't happening. This also raises some questions; would a fire and an ice dragon not live in completely separate climate zones?

Also, it's a forbidden/impossible/taboo/etc. love. Kind of generic, although we haven't really done anything with the idea so it's too early to really speculate on that.

I'm not too creative with this kinda stuff, but I guess I'll help where I can along the way.

Adding actual humans as secondary characters or in the background could help with coming up with ideas or a sub-plot.

yeah, some kind of unexpected twist where the two gain the power to assume human form at will might make this an improbable, rather than an impossible story. Actually if this twist is employed the story might be slightly feasible or all together plausible, right?

Well, I guess I might as well post the draft of the female dragon... An update is that the female will no longer be an ice dragon but rather a water dragon. here's the sketch and her tentative name is sylfe

Chapter 1: The Beginnings of War

'Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh'... Stryfe felt the steady beating of his wings as he flew. The fire in his heart began to grow cold. Exhaustion from the day's journey almost took him. His wings slowed, almost to a halt. He was on the run, and on a mission. The previous day he had fled from the fire dragon city to the west; dark dragons attacked the city. They were a group of evil, corrupted dragons bent on destroying the world. Millennia ago, they traded their souls for vast power. The High Dragon Council however, banished them from civilization to prevent them from taking over. For years they went in hiding, gathering more power and military strength. The Dragon Elders have warned that they might attack any moment, and their warning was fulfilled just a day ago when they attacked and utterly destroyed the fire dragon city. Stryfe had realized just moments after the attack that he must warn the other dragons if they were to survive the utter onslaught of the dark ones. He was rudely interrupted from his reflection by a passing flock of birds. Looking down now, he spotted an island with a volcano's caldera filled with crystal clear water. He decided to land and take a drink, but as he did, fatigue of the day's journey overtook him and he lost consciousness on the shore.
