Modern Warfare

Well anyways i thought i'd point out that a map called modern warfare by illidan(evil)x has finally reached a point where its playable.

I would like assume that none of you have ever heard of him before but this illidan is a quality model maker and i think i've told dark about him before.

So anyways the map is modern warfare between both the U.S and Soviets so that's basically saying the cold war never ended. The game supports a squad like system so when commanded soldiers 1 unit would = 5 soldiers. All land vehicles are called in via pod drop to the base drop zone. The objective is clearly to eliminate the enemy players.

A squad system? Sounds like Warhammer. Loved thier squad system. I'll probably try this if it won't lag me out.

sounds intresting. I have to reinstall warcraft though.

i dled it earlier from hive and tried solo just to see what it was. apperantly it supports comp players too. sweet map.

Yeah i guess i was wrong about some stuff though. Apparently illidan isn't working on it any more and the squad system is no longer in effect, only the spawning of five units remains.

Thats a shame. Seemed like such an awesome map.

Yeah its an rts but its very simple. Its not like those panther strat maps where you have to have all your heroes hotkeyed and shit no its just blow up the fucken enemy base.

Nah its not broken however i thought the game died ages ago until i just brought it up just a few days ago. I was browseing the hive and bame there it was.

hive is crack... you dl a map there and then you try and stop dling and like IT wont LET you... Its not that you can't its just that it decides to stop you from stopping it you know. I ate hive when it tried to do this to me and then yesterday i tried to dl from there again after stopping for a week. Its crack i say.
