The Archer

The Archer is the standard ranged soldier of the king. She has a moderate powered attack and low armor. Get on even ground or above her to maximize chances of victory. The Expeditionary Forces will ONLY attack you if you attack them first, and then only the player whom has attacked them. After they kill the offending players hero, they will consider the damage repaid.

Abilities: Quick-Shot
Suggested Tactics: Get up high or on even ground. Never stay below.

The Captain

The Captain is simply a stronger version of the basic footman, featuring more health, damage, faster speed, and a more powerful ability.

Abilities: Critical Strike (Captain)
Suggested Tactics: Out-do him in all aspects and you will do fine.

Beastiary Worldedit1212009-05-0420-38-01-79
The Corpse Worm (And Large Corpse Worm)

The Corpse Worm has an extremely low health rating, does no damage, and has no armor. It's what it becomes that you should fear. When this creature comes into contact with a decaying corpse, it will immediately burrow inside it and raise it as a fearsome undead warrior. Corpse Worms cannot use other Corpse Worms or mutated vegetation for this ability. After a Corpse Worm reaches 100 mana, it will reach adulthood, where it garners a small attack, additional health, speed, armor, and the ability to raise a stronger creature from corpses. Corpse Worms are not able to raise more than one corpse, like some creatures can because they do not use magic, and must implant themselves in the corpse for it to function. There is a small chance the corpse worm will exit the body of the living dead to find another host. The same corpse cannot be used twice.

Abilities: Raise Corpse, Raise Corpse (Greater)
Suggested Tactics: Corpse Worms will often assault in groups of 6 or more. AoE kills all of them instantly and usually prevents, if not at least hinders, any burrowing.

Beastiary Worldedit1212009-05-0420-38-26-01
The Creeper

The Creeper is a large mass of vines that slowly wander throughout the sewers. They are nearly invisible to the naked eye. When a creeper vine is alerted to prey through vibrations felt through the ground (VERY long acquisition range) it immediately begins slithering towards it's target. Creeper vines will travel under the feet of enemies in combat, slowly but surely, to eventually strangle their target.

Abilities: Permanent Invisibility, Strangle Hold.
Suggested Tactics: Use the Ranger's Flare or the Cleric's Reveal very often. If you cannot fight them, run. Just be warned they will follow you very great distances, and are very slow, meaning they can appear in combat when least expected. They can travel underneath units, meaning if you are surrounded by ghouls, you can be surrounded once more by Creepers.

Beastiary Worldedit1212009-05-0420-35-45-75
The Ghoul

The Ghoul is a very common undead creature, similar to the Zombie or Ghast in several ways but one. It is still living. It is a man twisted to horrible proportions and forced to devour the flesh of corpses to survive. Some Ghouls can still be spoken to. The Ghoul may appear to have severe injuries, with bones showing, torn muscles, and rotting flesh. Ghouls carry a deadly bacteria which attacks tissue, hence the decayed appearance. Ghouls seem to have developed a very tremulous symbiosis, in which the Ghoul will provide food for the bacteria by attacking and killing healthy organisms, while the bacteria softens the remaining tissues for the ghouls rotting mouth. However, the bacteria can quickly turn on the ghouls, making them easy to dispose of after a short time.

Abilities: Flesh-Eating Bacteria
Suggested Tactics: Early in-game ghouls will not have this ability. As you go deeper into dungeons however, they will all have this bacteria. Cleric's are recommended for these fights. If no Cleric is handy, Potions of Cleansing can be found or created by a Merchant specializing in alchemy. Ghouls never travel alone.

Spotter Plant

Spotter Plants are the tendrils of a larger organism located deep within the sewers. When they see a human which may possibly be absorbed into the organism, several creepers are dispatched to kill it. After the target is killed, roots will spring up around the corpse and slowly tear it to pieces, bringing chunks back to the larger organism.

Abilities: Summon Creepers
Suggested Tactics: Reveal and Flare often. Spotter Plants are not invisible, but are up high. Rangers and their sub-classes are the only ones who can hit the Spotter Plant far enough away to confuse it. It will not summon Creepers unless you reach a certain range.

Beastiary Worldedit1212009-05-0420-34-06-00
Venomous Vine

These vines sit immobile, curled around objects or simply jutting up into the air in strange formations. They spray a corrosive chemical at nearby enemies.

Abilities: Corrosion
Suggested Tactics: Take it out from afar. They have large amounts of HP and deal massive damage, so try not to get hit too much by them.

I will be updating the pictures later, because these are old screenshots. The Zombie and Ghast do not have images or definite statistics yet. More monsters to come. All Expeditionary Units are friendly unless attacked.

Plants cannot be raised or revived. Most Undead cannot be raised or revived. All Expedition forces can be raised and revived.

only do it if you are done all your other projects. even then I wouldn't recomend it becuse it would use alot of your time and you really wouldn't get much back from it.

Go ahead and do it in your spare time. If you want, make it HTML and I'll put it up as a webpage like I did with the other projects.

That reminds me, I need to update the map section and get those websites back up.

Needs better screenshots. I would recommend taking them in the WE so you can get better angles on the units.

To do so, Press and hold ctrl and right click-drag around. Enjoy.

What's wrong with the creeper? I specifically put it in that area to make it a little clearer to see since it's difficult to notice in foliage while in the editor. In-game it's difficult to notice at all unless you can reveal invis.
