Race Biographies! (And more!) Empty Race Biographies! (And more!)

In Warring Clans, there are 3 races:

Orcs, Nagas, Undead

Each race has a minor race:
Bandits, Night Elves, Demons (respectively)

Each race has a "personality" that makes them unique, and determines their battle style in the war.

Orcs: Orcs are the bread 'n' butter race. They're a perfect middle. Not too strong, not too weak, and sufficient numbers for battle. They make good use of their powerful shamanistic magics, and it gives them an edge over enemies. They rely on the skilled strength and magics of their warriors.

Naga: Naga are the brute force race. They tend to shift towards powerful warriors who slaughter everything in their path, but sacrifice numbers and magic for this. Their units tend to be much slower, but able to take more hits and deal more damage than the other 2 races. They do not rely on magic very much.

Undead: Undead are the strength-in-numbers race. They have huge numbers, but due to their... well, rotting flesh and lack of flesh at all, they're weak. Undead units are speedy and are easily replaced. However, the Undead are not to be taken lightly. Their Demonic allies bring in the heavy hitters, and the undead themselves have mutated some pretty strange things. Undead rely primarily on powerful magics and summoning to bolster their ranks.

Don't think of this as rock-paper-scissors, because it isn't. Each race will be specially balanced to their standards, and the number of units in their spawn will reflect this.
However, generally, Naga will beat Orc, Orc will beat Undead, and Undead will beat Naga. Bases will also be set up in consideration of what is being sent at them. The battle field is much like this:
(Sorry for the very crude drawings)
NOTE: Not to scale, and very unrefined. Very minor paths, curves, deviations, and other things are not shown in this diagram.

Spawns will be sent as such: (Again, sorry for very crude drawings)

Now, these drawings will help you understand how the bases work. And since there's a minor rock paper scissor setup (Naga > Orcs > Undead > Naga), all bases will be set up to match this.

In the Orc base, The gate leading East (right) will have weaker towers since they will be fighting the undead and can usually overcome them. However, in the gate leading North-East (Up and Right), they will have much stronger towers to handle the Naga.

In the Naga base, defense is tough since they are being attacked on 3 fronts (usually the left and right, rarely the middle). On the left side, towers are slightly weaker. In the middle, they are about as strong as average orc/undead towers, and on the left they're much faster with a slight boost in strength to overcome undead numbers.

And in the Undead base, the gate leading West will have strong towers to handle the Orcs. The towers to the north will be much stronger to take on the Naga, but will be weaker in terms of health and defense. Undead usually have the strongest towers.

Every race also will have "storyline" heroes. Events will occur during the game that involves these "heroes" (such as a hero dying, taking place as leader, etc.) These events will not be game making/breaking, nor will they hold much influence beyond varying the gameplay a bit and maybe changing some spawns.
So far, I've planned a few Orc heroes (when I'm done with the story for the Orcs, I'll post it).

Korgar. Basic grunt, slightly stronger.
Orgrare. Huge, almost ogreish grunt. Best friend of Korgar. Deals insane damage and takes insane hits.
Urtha-don. Insanely strong Axemaster. Father of Korgar.
Craig. Bandit that has minor magical abilities. Friends with Korgar and Orgrare.

These storyline heroes have their own phrases, spells, and traits. They will not count for much in terms of killing (gold and exp-wise), but they can be a big pain when trying to break through an enemy line.

Anyways, that's a lot of info to be crammed into your face at once. As always, let me know what you think.

Your not going to make the rock-paper-scissor thing make ALOT of difference are you?
Because then it will be kind of weird, so the first attacker would lose. So if the naga attacked orc, of course the orc would lose, then the undead would just go kill the naga. -.- So dont make the rock-paper-scissor make too much of a difference. Just so that if naga was to go against orc, the naga were to just barely win.

To fluffy: It's not huge. It's just basics. Orc beat undead because of their balance of strength and numbers. Undead beat naga because their swarming and magic overcome the brute force of Naga, and the Naga beat orc because of their pure strength. It's not like "LOLZ NAGA ELIMINATES ORC". It's subtle.

To Sniper: Diagrams are bad, i know. But you're right, each race sends spawns at each other. The second diagram shows how.
And those were 5 minutes computer art things. They weren't supposed to be pretty.
