Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Can't...
Stop...
Watching...
Heh. You know what you might like? "Pivot" stickfigure animator. It's pretty basic and can take a long time to get a good, smooth animation going, but it's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it (it's not very hard, just time consuming since it's frame-by-frame).
And this was actually pretty smooth. How many frames is it? 9?

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
@ Dark, it IS pivot actually, If you watch carefully, the stickman never changes or anything, the bodyparts are all linked, exactly like Pivot. And it's 16 frames actually. didn't take me a long time to make this. Probably under 30 minutes or something.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
I knew it looked really familiar. It was just the gun that made me think otherwise.
Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump. Since you guys got me into Pivot again, I've made another animation. It's longer and contains more frames.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
I noticed you made a very small mistake. When he steps back after he kicks the other guy's nuts. The right foot slid front a bit that time.

Yeah, there are a lot of those tiny-mistakes throughout all of my animations. I can't be perfect. ^.^

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Google. It's free.
And wow, that was really smoothly animated. Nice job. Only thing I would say is the guy should've gone down still holding his nuts.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump.
Everyone should I know I can't make my OWN signature for crap, so I got a stickman to whip up a quick signature for me.
(Might not be as great as my other two animations, hehe)
@Dark: I knew there was something odd about it! Lol

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Heheh, that was good (the signature one), although I think you could elaborate more and make a longer one where a group of them build one (with explosions and stuff)
Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump!
I've made yet another animation. I decided to use a Halberd/Polearm/etc, for this one, since they are one of my favourite weapons. And this is the first animation on here with blood. If you look closely, just a bit of it sprays out of the stickman.
If it looks even a TINY bit choppy, then think of it as resistance as the blade goes through the stickman.
Yeah, I thought so too, but I would have to think of things to do for each letter and I would probably have to do a good amount of organizing, which, I am not that good at. Hehe.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
I've used Pivot before; but I've never been able to make/use such complex things like guns before. Where/how are you getting those?
Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Droidz.org
You can get stickmen, weapons, guns, effects, text, blood, and other random things for Pivot.
When you get there, press Stks near the top of the website, under the logo.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump x2.
I did some digging up and found my first two attempts at a program called "EasyToon". It's usually supposed to be for fast-paced action, so you don't have to worry too much about making the stickmen "perfect".
They are on the first post, second spoiler.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Very interesting. If we could put both pivot and EasyToon together, it'd be great (I'm seeing things I like in both.)
Keep it up!

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump!
I've added another Pivot Animation. Fire vs Ice/Water
This one is my only colorful one and it will be continued on. It's a bit of a "Preview" if you will.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Bump.
I know you've been expecting another Pivot, but I've gotten my hands on a freeware 3D modeling program I've been introduced to when I was little at a Summer University Program. I wasn't too good at it, but now, 6 years later, I've decided to try it again. I have to say I've improved a lot. Anim8or shall be part of my animations from now on.
In short, new category: Anim8or.

Re: Mooo-Gunsniper's Animations
Nice to see you got a new program, but I got things to say.
1: Animation == uber slow. Dunno if that's your fault or not, or if you're just experimenting, but yeah.
2: Your walking is horribly incorrect. Think of how you walk. Does the foot you step out with magically slide backwards as you move forwards? No. I see a lot of video games do this (or have their characters run an animation loop that doesn't match their move speed), and it looks really bad. When something steps forward, keep that foot where it is and let the next leg's forward movement drive the body forward, until the first leg is behind.
It's kind of hard to describe, so walk down your hallway back and forth a few times to better understand it.
