Regarding the heroes:

I haven't consulted Amadi about this yet, but I decided I would at least bring this up:

I, personally, don't want to use the Melee heroes, and DEFINITELY not the "standard" footman frenzy heroes. Why?

1: Melee heroes are not balanced for use in a game like Footies. They were balanced for melee, a completely different setup.
2: They're kind of boring. No flash, no flare.
3: The "standard" heroes are boring as well, and some are flat out imbalanced.
4: I don't want to have to import a shitload of heroes from an unprotected map.
5: It shows no originality.
6: Melee heroes have concepts that aren't exactly best things for what
we'd want, heroes should be more aimed towards support roles, instead
of shockwaving 200 footies down in half-a-second.

I remember how in nearly every game, someone would pick some melee hero which would almost take down the entire footie team with a single spell.

Added Amadi's idea to the list. And I agree. Some heroes should be fighters, but they should all mainly be support for your footies, supplementing their fighting.

Like in ultimate footys any meele hero with a cloack got take down 1000s of foots

So you guys are saying, it will be the footies that do 99% of the fighting instead of your hero?

Not 99%. About 60%. I (we) want heroes to be a support role, but still be able to kill things, you know? Currently, nobody gives a shit about the spawns. They're just a way to get gold. I (we) want to change that so that the spawns actually mean something.
