Design-A-Wave contest (DISCUSSION)
Sniper said I should hold more contests, so here is the first one!
It's called the "Design-A-Wave" contest. What you do is design a wave of spawns for any (or all) of the races. Each wave of spawn can (should) include the following unit roles
-Melee unit / Tank, abilities optional
-Caster, summons optional (but required for undead)
-(If there is a summoned unit, make sure to fill it in)
-Range support unit, abilities optional
-Magic Support, abilities required; must heal or buff allies or debuff enemies
-Hero, with 1 passive and 1 active. Can be lightly triggered.
-Other units (like on-death summons, etc.)
Each unit must have one of the following elements: (Elements in bold are elements in need of units)
(Fire, water, lightning, nature, night, day, life, death, normal).
There are 3 races, and 3 sub-races. They are:
Orc, Naga, Undead / Bandit, Night Elf, Demon (respectively).
Race details:
Orc are the middle-men. They have a good balance of strength and magic, and use a lot of buffing magics to augment their troops. They have average soldier numbers.
Naga are the brute-force. They rely on heavy HP and attack, but do not use much magic. They do not have many soldiers, but the ones they do have are strong.
Undead are the casters. They rely heavily on summons and all sorts of magics to support their weaker troops. They have large numbers of soldiers, but they go down fast.
When submitting waves, the units should be filled out like this:
When giving abilities, please use the closest Blizzard base possible (eg: for a range stun, use Storm Bolt).
Name of Unit - (Role). Abilities (if any). /Unit Model. Type. Any other notes you'd like to add. (Regen at night only, for example)
Waves will be judged on the following criteria:
Creativity (10) - Is your wave creative? Did you think up interesting ways to utilize each unit for the best wave?
Usefulness (15) - Is this a wave you'd want to fight with in an AoS? Does it fit a niche?
Power (5) - Is this a strong wave? (As in, would this stand a chance in a fight?)
Balance (10) - Is this wave balanced? As in, this wave wouldn't just mop the floor with anything it walks by. Half of this Balance score is a balance between roles
Theme (10) - Does this wave fit the theme of the race you're working in? Does it look like something you could see this race producing? Does this wave have a theme at all? (Fire casters, super tanks, etc. etc. etc. If you have a theme, please say so so I know what to look for. Theme is optional, and not having one will not hurt your score).
I will choose 1 or 2 waves for each race. Please post all submissions for waves HERE:

To add more waves to your submission (it's unlimited entries), edit your post and then post here that you've added a new wave.
Good luck, have fun!

Re: Design-A-Wave contest (DISCUSSION)
Yay, we have a submission!
Mooo, you might want to revise your submission; there's not really a way to distinguish non-orc, ranged, etc.
And thanks for spotting that error Sniper. Post removed, error fixed.

There, fixed. When he casts raise dead, the skeleton created from the ability is random.
