Wolf Contest!! (Submission and Discussion)

Okay, I've decided to get you all involved in the making of Wolf Packs Alpha. So, I decided to hold a contest. Here's the details.

The wolf will be a starting wolf. Its primary attribute MUST be intelligence. The wolf must be cohesive/have a purpose. (That means it needs to fit together well.) Its ultimate must fit an element that hasn't been used already. (I'll notify you if it has.)

Entrants: None

Format:
Wolf Type
Wolf Names (4-7 names allowed)

Describe what the wolf should look like (color and size. Comparing size to other wolves helps)

Starting stats (must add up to 50)

Advantages (High HP, High attack speed, high armor, etc.)
Weaknesses (Slow, low mana, etc.)

I like where you're going, except the Blade Wolf is already our "Mech". I do like the electricity, so if you can design a wolf around that it would be great.

And there isn't enough water on the map for "more damage if in water", etc. to be useful, so take those out.

Oh, and lightning is an element already being used by the Fighter wolf, so it can't be the ultimate. Electricity is okay for the main abilities though.

Eh, srry, i dont play WPA often so im not familiar with the ultis and stuff. Ill fix them tomorrow XD.

Updated review of Nature Wolf:

Ability 1: Maybe. I like where it's going, but the skill seems a little bland.

Ability 2: I like it still, but it needs a little bit more.

Ability 3: Not liking it, it has almost no purpose. An illusionary spell is okay, but not like this. Too conditional.

Ability 4: Wolves don't regenerate mana at all =p

Ultimate: You need to pick a different element to use. Plus, the name is in use (Female's) And I don't like having to use trees, it makes it either way too strong or potentially useless.

While this entry doesn't follow the rules (it breaks a few, in fact), I'll review it anyways.

Ability 1: Okay, I see what you mean. But the spell is too simple, it needs something... more.

Ability 2: I've already got plenty of click-attack-stun like spells. Needs a new spell in general.

Ability 3: Hmm... This ability is slightly more useful. Kind of like a sentry ward.

Ability 4: I like this ability a lot. I'd make it the ultimate, definitely.

Ability 5: Good synergy with ability 4. I would flip their positions, but when you redesign the wolf, keep these 2 (you can tweak them a bit if you want)

I like this idea. A lot. It has some good potential. My critique:

Ethreal/mortal forms are kind of... meh. I was never a big fan of the Tauren Spirit Walker's morphing.

Transformation: I like this one a little more. It might take a while to set up, but it's good. There's too many forms though, it should be more refined, honestly.

Illusionary spirits: Good, but needs something extra.

Spiritual Strike: Liking this one. Gets more powerful as the game progresses, nice.

Ethereal Form: I'm not loving the idea either, but it just somehow seems to fit him.

Mortal Form: What if I add something else like attack, defense, or stat bonus?

Transformation: Okay, so should I remove human form?

Illusionary Spirits: How about the illusions can deal 5% damage from the original, and each level increases that percent?

Spiritual Strike: Glad you like it.

Just remove Ethreal form and do something else. I'm sure you could think of something.

Mortal form will have to go too.

Pick 2 of the transformation forms and remove them, then focus on the 2 remaining.

No, allowing the spirits to attack won't cut it. I'm not sure what to add. I like the illusions. And actually, it might just stay that way. But he needs a passive, so...

Etheral Form and Mortal Form have been replaced with Mist and Split. I've kept the buck and dragon form, but you can tell me if theres a problem with that. And, I've kept the illusions the same, like you said.

Hmmm... Mist is a bit OP. Remove the anti-spell casting and it works for me. It could be his passive.

I like Double. It's pretty good, and I think I could work with it.

Regarding fluffy's submission:

Trickster wolf:

Trickery isn't an element. I mean like, ELEMENTAL elements. You know, fire, water, etc. etc.

Mirror Illussion: Interesting ability, I must say. Might be hard to pull off, but I like it.

Creep Mask: Looks completely useless, as well as insanely hard to pull off.

Mass Attack: I like this concept. Might do something with it.

Illusionist: Cannot be done. (You can't modify evasion chance in any way w/o a custom evasion skill, which i don't have and don't plan on making)

Ultimate: (Which you gave no name for) Might be a bit overpowered. Concept is okay, but it doesn't fit the wolf as much as I'd like.

Isnt the undead wolf similar to the werewolf???

I don't see how. I don't remember the werewolf being a HP->Damage type

Undead wolf is almost nothing like the werewolf. It's an excellent idea.
