Minor Hero Contest (DISCUSSION)
In Warring Clans, each clan will have minor heroes to supplement battle. So, I think it'd be best to include the community in their creation.
Each clan will have 4 (count 'em) heroes, and each game, 1 will be randomly selected to assist in combat. (S/He will be fully automated).
So, your job is to create a hero. That's 3 abilities (that have 6/5/4 levels) and 1 ultimate (that has 3 levels). Each hero should fit a role, and each hero must have an element (fire, water, lightning, nature, night, day, life, death, normal). Their abilities should fit the element you choose, but a little deviation is okay.
Heroes will be judged as follows:
Creativity (15) - Is your hero original in design? Are his/her abilities new and creative? Do they make for a good presentation of the hero?
Usefulness (15) - Is this hero a good supplement to the race you've given it to? Does this hero fit its chosen role well, and does it look like it would work on the battlefield? Is this a hero you would want to play as?
Abilities (10) - Did you design good abilities for this hero? Do they fit the hero's theme well? Do these abilities look useful? Do they form synergy and combos within the hero or possibly other heroes?
Other (10) - Other includes name, presentation, overall design idea, and basically a "Does this look like a good hero?" idea.
Limit of two (2) heroes per person. They can go to any race you pick. Heroes should be submitted as follows:
Hero Name (Creative name) (eg: Frank)
Hero Name (Unit name) (eg: Paladin)
Hero Model (and color) (eg: Paladin model, light green)
Hero Element (eg: Life)
Primary attribute (eg: Agility)
Starting Attributes (eg: 20 / 20 / 20) (Must add up to 60)
Abilities:
Ability 1: Description of ability; what it does, what it should look like. Icon, if you can think of one. 6 Levels.
Ability 2: Same as above. 5 Levels.
Ability 3: Same as above. 4 Levels.
Ability 4 (ultimate): Same as above. 3 Levels. Should be a worthy-looking ultimate (something you'd really look forward to getting)
Be as detailed as possible with the abilities (how much damage is dealt, radius, etc. is optional but appreciated), including how units are damaged ("units hit by rocks take damage", for example), and so on and so forth.

Ah, some submissions.
Sniper:
Good base idea. First spell is simple but effective. Second spell is okay I suppose, but it could use something more. Third spell looks good, but will be a pain to code. Ultimate seems a bit simple, and not as climactic. Keep the meteor theme, change the spell.
Fire:
The basic idea is good, but you don't actually give the hero any spells that do anything Nature related, aside from "Wolf Bite"; and even then. The spells are basic, but due to their seemingly-random element makeup make them hard to use. The ultimate is also very anticlimactic; it's not big and wondiferous.
Fluffy:
<3 the added detail (damage per level, etc.), although a lot of it increments inconsistently. First spell is a good support idea, albeit a bit complicated (too many effects!). Also, evasion can't be added/removed from people like that in a clean-looking manner. Second ability, I don't like. You're making the hero insane, but it's a big tradeoff. I would lay off the massive damage-modifiers. Third spell seems a little out-of-place on your hero, not really seeing the connection besides water/sea. Plus, the Naga aren't very big on summons. Ultimate is very much like the second spell, both in make-up and in what I think of them.

Edit second ability and ultimate. However in advance. Burning of corpes would seem sorta Counter undead.

Yeah, it would kinda be like a counter to the undead, but isn't your hero undead in the first place?

Yes but i mean the new idea for the ulti would be helpfull and ineffective at the same time.
Fluffy your heros buffs made it incredibily OP.

Not necessarily. Besides, giving your hero massive %'s of attack boosts is not only imbalanced, but doesn't really show much in the way of creativity... especially when his 2nd spell and ulti are almost exactly the same kind of spell.But i thought naga were supposed to be high attack/slow attack speed?

warring clans joker everyone can submit a minor hero that will assist the players in game just look at some of our subbmisions and base your hero (if you make one) On the same format.

No we come up with ideas. It means the hero helps push lanes and kill creeps. Another player yoj dont have to control.

And fire your ultimate sounds alot like the wookie in Ninjas in pyjamas Or ninja otakus on battle net or ninja on bnet OR WHATEVER THE FUCK ITS CALLED they change the name so much.

Yes, Warring Clans is a map I'm making.
This contest is where you design a hero idea, spells and all, and if you win (basically if I like your hero), your hero gets a spot in the minor heroes section for Warring Clans. It's easy and fun.
To answer Sniper's question; there's 3 slots, one for each race. You're competing for that slot.

Knight, nice to see you submitted. You forgot to specify what race your hero belonged too.
Anyways... Your spell kept its theme, good. I'm not liking Shadow Dagger only because the computer would probably get slaughtered after using it (getting her face right into the battle... Not good). She doesn't need shadowmeld since she won't be standing still, ever. Windwalk-esque spell is... okay... I'm not really seeing it being too useful, since I would imagine she is a ranged hero. Nightfall is completely useless; turning night to day wouldn't do anything besides make her spells castable. Her ultimate is not the greatest; mirror image is okay, but I don't see the point of revealing everything around her.
All in all: Needs a remake.

I'm kinda only good at player used heroes >.<
Cause i would use the Night spell then jump behind and sleep walk away or just shadow meld : \

Normally, that would be a good idea (a bit imba if you ask me), but for a computer it wouldn't be so good.

You got a map?. And what is it about the hero. Sounds kinda like something from dota. (i had a friend who was a really friendly dota player and hosted it for me and his friends )
