I've found a way to make hero selection simple and good looking withOUT a tavern!

Another suggestions though, you may want to consider hero selecting systems that use their own interfaces and icons.

No. Those are almost too fancy; and I don't need that. It's too much.

Mmmm I wonder if the select system on CCFE should be something like that ... what do you think?

I think it's effective at what it does. Just be forewarned that putting too much in the tooltip can make it really hard to fit into the game window.
